Hand-blown art glass vases, cremation urns, pet urns, keepsake urns, jewelry, hearts, companion vases...

Tom Michael, Odyssey Art Glass
Washington, Michigan

My introduction to fine art glass began in 1975 with the purchase
of my first piece of Steuben gold Aurene and a piece of L. C. Tiffany
Favrile. Art glass became a fascination and before long I opened an
antique shop and stained glass studio in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

The fascination continued and I soon undertook the repair of Tiffany
and Tiffany-type lamps and windows for patrons around Michigan.
I also bought and sold fine American and European art glass. Many
superlative pieces of the Art Nouveau-era have passed through my
hands and I take care to study them all. Works by Tiffany, Steuben,
Quezal and Loetz have left an indelible impression on me, providing
inspiration for my artistic endeavors.

In 2005 I began experimenting and blowing art glass solo and not
surprisingly, my efforts centered on techniques and designs peculiar
to the Art Nouveau era of decorated, iridescent art glass.
Each piece of Odyssey Art Glass is individually hand-blown and hand-
crafted using only the finest glass available, much of it super-saturated
with silver.
You can be assured that you have in your possession an
enduring, entirely unique piece of art glass, the only one of its kind.

Thank you,

Tom Michael
